It’s with much excitement that we launch our 2024 gourmet dining week here at Chalet Fourmiliere. You asked us last winter for a week dedicated to delicious dishes delicately prepared by our head chef Benjamin Aubert; ask and you shall receive! Previous to joining us here at Chalet Fourmiliere, Ben worked in the Michelin-starred kitchen of his good friend Nicolas Bottero, chef-patron at Le Mas Bottero in Provence. We get it, booking a late-season jaunt to the mountains is risky business. Will there be enough snow? Will there be enough sunshine? Will half of the resort be closed? Will my chalet staff be knackered after a seasons worth of hard work? Here at Chalet Fourmiliere we’ve blended the perfect cocktail of conditions for a late-season ski break. The Portes du Soleil has seen a significant dump of snow over the last 24 hours, with more than 15cm at resort level and over 50cm in Avoriaz at 1800m. And it’s still coming down as we speak! All this fresh powder lies on carefully maintained pistes and the ..read more
