Congress approval brings WFDF’s member national federations to 107 countries
The World Flying Disc Federation (“WFDF”) is proud to announce that its Congress has approved the Mongolian Flying Disc Federation (MFDF) as its newest national Member from Mongolia (MGL), increasing WFDF’s membership to 107 member National Federations (NFs).

When the World Flying Disc Federation kicks off the 2023 Pan American Ultimate Championships later this month, players from 13 countries will be competing for gold from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. WFDF, in partnership with Ultiworld, will be streaming every day of the competition, which runs from November 28 to December 2. Ultiworld will stream at least 30 games from the Pan-American Ultimate Championships over the five days of competition. One field with expert commentary and one without.

We have member federations in both Israel and Palestine and we understand that the situation impacts the whole flying disc community in the region. WFDF is seeking enthusiastic, skilled, and committed candidates for its 2023 Elections. Complete nominations must be received by the Nominating Committee by November 5, 2023. The target date for the start of the elections is November 15, 2023, with a targeted end date of December 15, 2023. Results should be announced by December 31, 2023, subject to confirmation of acceptance by elected candidates. The following positions are open for election for 2-year terms commencing on January 1, 2024, and concluding on December 31, 2025.

Team Italy – White took the first gold medal in the inaugural WFDF World Wheelchair Ultimate Championships, having secured a narrow 7-5 victory during Sunday’s finals over Team WFDF International. The event was held at the Bella Italia EFA Village in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy) from 29-30 September 2023 and four teams participated with two teams from Italy (White and Blue), one team from Germany, and an “international” team with its core group from Japan.

More than 700 players from 50 teams and 15 countries will descend on Huntington Beach, California, USA next month for the chance to be crowned the best beach Ultimate teams in the world. The World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), in partnership with Ultiworld, will stream up to 12 contests per day from the WFDF 2023 World Beach Ultimate Championships.

Five gold medallists from five different nations were crowned champions at the World Flying Disc Federation 2023 Asia Oceanic Ultimate and Guts Championships (AOUGC), which concluded on 10 September in Manila, Philippines.
