The Grade 8 Band Students have been asked to help move chairs to the gym for the Eastern Area Teacher’s Association meeting happening on Friday, May 2. In return, the EATA will give an honorarium to the band program (proceeds will be used to supplement the cost of the 2025 Band trip). If your child can move chairs after school on Thursday, May 2 from 3:00 – 4:00, and/or move chairs out of the gym on Friday, May 3 from 3:00 – 4:00 they can sign up on the google doc that is posted in google classroom. The Grade 7 Band will be traveling to Athena Consolidated School on Thursday, May 9th, to participate in Beginner Band Day. Beginner bands from across PEI will meet at the school to perform for, and listen to other ensembles. Students will depart Stonepark following the morning announcements and will return at approximately 2:00 pm. A pizza lunch will be provided at Michaels’ Pizzaria in Summerside.
