This weekend, Austin and the wider Texas community lost an absolutely incredible, kind, generous, caring and wonderful human, John Aden Higgs. A native Austinite, Higgs was a member of the AU (then-UPLA) Board for many years serving as Youth Director, in addition to coaching countless youth events, Double Trouble (YCC Boys), and other teams. He also served as DJ at local pro games and could always be counted on for the best music recommendations.
