After a wild sprint race on Saturday, the MotoGP field faced a hard-fought main race on Sunday. Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati) earned victory at the fourth round of the season. The Italian fought hard for his win, ahead of Marc Márquez in second place. Marco Bezzecchi rounded off the podium at the Spanish Grand Prix. Jorge Martín (Ducati) won the sprint race at the Spanish Grand Prix. After 12 heart-stopping laps of the iconic Jerez track, he prevailed with a victory ahead of Pedro Acosta (GasGas) and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha). The race saw some fourteen crashes. The rest of the riders to score points were Dani Pedrosa, Franco Morbidelli, Raúl Fernández, Marc Márquez, Augusto Fernández and Miguel Oliveira. Saturday’s Spanish Grand Prix action started under overcast skies. The MotoGP riders went out on a wet track in FP2, where Marc Márquez (Ducati) led the way. With the inclusion of guest riders Dani Pedrosa (KTM), Lorenzo Savadori (Aprilia) and Stefan Bradl (Honda), a total of 25 riders from the premier class completed an intense Friday in Jerez. The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve held the MotoGP Sprint race on Saturday afternoon. After a total of 12 laps, with several crashes, Maverick Viñales (Aprilia) finally took the victory.
