A man who worked at Walmart has been accused of stealing from the store, according to a news advisory released by the Aberdeen Police Department.
Kobe McDuffie, 24, of Raeford, was arrested and placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond for charges out of Aberdeen and an additional $10,000 secured bond for outstanding warrants from Lee County.

A traffic stop led to the arrest of a 37-year-old Aberdeen man with the help of a Southern Pines Police K-9.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields reports that a 28-year-old man from Ellerbe was jailed this week on a $100,000 secured bond and faces 10 charges.
Fields said the investigation began on March 17 when his department received a report that someone allegedly broke into a vehicle in Cameron.
Investigators arrested Demarcus Campbell 24 days later on April 10.

Aberdeen Police Department announced an arrest in a 2022 armed robbery case.

An unlicensed driver and passenger are facing drug charges after a traffic stop on Thursday.
Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said in a press release that detectives pulled the vehicle over in the 1600 block of Highway 1 Business in Cameron.
“The traffic stop was initiated because it was known to the detectives that the driver of the motor vehicle was not a licensed driver,” said Fields. “During the traffic stop, detectives conducted a search of the vehicle. Two teenagers are accused of stealing a car, according to a news release from the Aberdeen Police Department.
The vehicle was stolen on Jan. 31 in the Berkley community in Aberdeen.

A teenager was arrested for allegedly breaking into an Aberdeen home, according to a news release by the Aberdeen Police Department.
The investigation began on Jan. 25 when officers and investigators were called to the Berkley community regarding a home that had been broken into and damaged.

Two people from Vass are facing several drug charges after law enforcement seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, alprazolam, marijuana and drug and marijuana paraphernalia.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said a woman from West End is facing fraud charges.
“On March 19, 2024, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a financial card fraud after multiple unauthorized charges were discovered on a personal financial account in West End, North Carolina,” said Fields in a statement issued to Sandhills Sentinel.

A man from Southern Pines was arrested and facing gun charges, according to a news release from the Southern Pines Police Department.
The Southern Pines Police Department said Ahmir McKayhan, 23, was arrested on March 22 on charges of possession of a stolen firearm, carrying a concealed weapon and resist, delay, and obstruct a public officer.
