Just a few years ago, I photographed Savannah in the summer after 8th grade. (Click here to see). That is a pivotal time in a teen’s life- right before the big changes that high school brings. A common question I often get is where will we shoot for a branding session? If your office or home is not super photogenic where can we go to achieve a similar setting? One option is to rent a home that allows photoshoots. Unlike an Airbnb, which may require a 3 night minimum, there are websites (Peerspace, Home Studio List) where homes are listed that allow their space to be rented by the day, half day or full day. Shades of pink was the color palette for our annual Valentine’s/Galentine’s day photo shoot last Sunday. From booking the session to the day of the shoot- here is a good idea of what to expect and how to stay on track and prepped for your senior portrait session! – Book your session 3-5 months before your session: Senior year is a busy time!
