The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is bringing back a piece of history with the addition of 25 all-new Ford Mustang GTs to its fleet. This move echoes the days of the 1980s and 90s when the patrol used Mustang SSPs. Based on the 2024 Ford Mustang GT, the cars are equipped with a powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine packing 480 horsepower.
