Jackson Caldwell – Seabrook, Texas   Congratulations to Celsius Tennis Academy’s Jackson Caldwell on a great performance in this year’s Easter Bowl at Indian Wells, California. Jackson went 8-1 to win the consolation singles final, defeating fifth-seeded Asror Ismoilov from Delray Beach in straight sets. Big shout out to Celsius rising star Sophie Llewellyn (15 yrs). On January 23rd Sophie lost a nail biter to Mia Slama in the J4 Finals in San Jose, Costa Rica. On January 30, 2021 Sophie was victorious in the finals of the J5 event over Ana Grubor of Canada. En route to both consecutive finals, Sophie was victorious over the 2020 Orange Bowl winner Valeria Ray. Great job Sophie, we look forward to your future success in 2021 and beyond. Celsius Tennis Academy trains and hosts events at Bath and Racquet in Sarasota, FL including both USTA and UTR junior tennis tournaments. We are not affiliated with the Sarasota Bath and Racquet Club and have no management or membership role. Recently two international players from Puerto Rico who were in town for a tournament became engaged in an altercation with a member of the club. Inappropriate remarks were exchanged. Cary Cohenour, director of Celsius Tennis academy just completed another week in India with Todd Clark at Ahmedabad Racquet Academy pathway to success camp. The camp focused on training for those student athletes in India who were considering playing collegiate tennis in the United States. Many Celsius Tennis Academy junior tennis players have gone on to achieve great success in the collegiate ranks.
