Color Changing Landscape Lighting and Initial Thoughts
I was speaking to a long-time client who recently upgraded every aspect of her extremely large waterfront home. She had removed the cabinets and the entire kitchen, and we had upgraded the audio/video/lighting and control systems. The interior designer did an impressive job on the interior design and decor, a photo-ready foyer that has had me and many others pulling out their phones to snap pictures.
Amidst all of this, I mentioned that her home looked truly amazing during the daytime- but it looked very similar to the other houses on he ..read more

In-wall Volume Controls: Trouble Shooting the System
A popular sports bar in St. Petersburg, Florida recently contacted Entertainment Pros about in-wall volume controls that weren’t working. This job involved troubleshooting the in-wall volume controls. These controls are more than enhancing audio quality; it’s about the logistics and ease of using AV systems in commercial settings . And for this bar, managing the system quickly was critical. Once we started troubleshooting the system, we quickly realized the volume controller went bad. Not only did we need to replace the component, we had to ..read more

Defective AV Equipment Under Warranty
As an audio-video company dealing in top-tier consumer electronics, we rarely have equipment failures. But, when we do, our suppliers stand by their equipment and their warranties. While some defective products can be repaired or returned to the manufacturer, there are times when neither option is cost-effective.
In such cases, manufacturers often require the product to be "field destroyed" to prevent repurposing or resale. This means the product must be completely destroyed and d ..read more

A Blend of Sound Quality and Room Aesthetics
At Entertainment Pros, we've always believed a quality home entertainment system is a blend of sound quality and room aesthetics. We recently had the privilege of transforming a client's old surround sound system into a stunning 7.2 setup. The client approached us with a system installed by another company. Though functional, the installation's aesthetics were a letdown. Plywood was oddly used as a backing and to mount the left and right speakers - a sight more common in DIY projects. Additionally, the sound quality was subpar due to a misconfigure ..read more
