I looooove a myth retelling, and one of my favourite writers giving a voice to the women of Greek mythology is Jennifer Saint. I’ve read and really enjoyed her previous books – Ariadne, Elecktra, and Atalanta, so when I heard Hera was coming out it went right to the top of my tbr. I’m back this Wednesday with another upcoming release that I can’t wait to get my eyes on! This time it’s Sophie Green’s new novel, Art Hour at the Duchess Hotel. Like Kate Forsyth, who I was raving about last week, Sophie Green is an auto-buy author for me and I have loved all of her novels so far. I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m a bit of a fangirl for A. G. Slatter‘s writing – it’s just so gothic and creepy and fantastic in exactly the way that I love. I’ve reviewed her previous two novels here (All the Murmuring Bones) and here (The Path of Thorns) – and you’ll see if you follow the links that I absolutely adored both.
