Princeton Professor Lauren A. Wright argues that conservative students benefit from the lack of intellectual diversity on college campuses in a recent article. She writes, “Conservative students, rather than being coddled, face significant intellectual and social challenges in college. These challenges impart educational advantages by forcing conservatives to defend their points of view. Liberal students, surrounded by like-minded […]

If you are attending our 2024 Leadership Retreat, you may be searching for stylish and professional outfits to wear around Boston. I encourage you to consider some conservative-owned brands for your retreat packing list.
Supporting brands that share our values ensures your spending reinforces your beliefs of faith, family, and freedom. This encourages a marketplace where diverse viewpoints are represented. I feel empowered knowing I’m supporting like-minded groups with my usual purchases. Luckily, we do not have to purchase items from brands that have turned their backs on us through progressi ..read more

As I reflect on my completed freshman year of college at Texas State University, I remember how nervous I was leading up to my move-in day. I tried to play it cool and hide my anxiety from my family and friends, but I felt permanently sick to my stomach leading up to move-in day. I also was nervous about making friends at a well-known party school as a conservative Christian.
*Spoiler alert: everything turned out wonderfully, and I had nothin ..read more

As a recent graduate from Texas Tech University, I have been reflecting on my time in college and the connections I made there. What impacted my experience away from home at a four-year university? Undoubtedly, the number one factor driving my success in college was obedience to God and fellowship with other Christians.
In You’re Not Alone: The Conservative Woman’s Guide to College, I shared some of my experiences finding a faith-based community in college. As I said in the book, I consider myself a Christian before being a conservative. My belief in the Bible and the Christian wor ..read more

The media is flush with commentary on beauty: what makes a woman beautiful, how to be more beautiful, what “kind” of beautiful you are, and how little beauty allegedly remains in the world. Taylor Swift has been viciously mocked for being “ugly” (on what planet?), and Margot Robbie has been called “mid” (as if)…
We have become a vain culture, forgetting that true beauty comes from within. This isn’t a trite adage, one to be repeated to insecure tweens but not believed. It is a truth so simple that we completely miss the point. Authentic confidence and love for oneself creates beauty. Sur ..read more
