My last name, Bouton, is French for button. Ironically I was in charge of the button donations at the Legacy for over 10 years. Wanting to make a pretty button card to sew the loose buttons on led me to the discovery of clip art. Then I realized I had 1000's of similar images, dating to the 1700's. Inspired, I created a blog to share all this ephemera with you creative ones. All because..

Oh I love that Fall is here! I love the beautiful colors as leaves turn from green to rich browns, yellows orange. This year we may have made it through fire season. Cooler nights, damp dewy mornings plus rain is coming. September and October can be so hot and windy. Now onto the beautiful art work in today’s post. The rich fall colors, sumptuous fabrics and lovely ladies reflect the season. The fall fairy can be u ..read more

Back then it was a quiet little village where I walked on the beach, roamed Manning park and wa ..read more

It’s not big but little tiny bits of ice that we only experience once in a while. They bounce on the ground and barely accumulate. A nice break from our dry weather.
Today I have some beautiful paintings of lovely women in big hats. Enjoy them or use the ..read more

Hi everyone I’m so glad you stopped by. I found these adorable French provincial graphics. Simple flowers and shapes I can just see them decorating so many things. They are so cheerful! One of the many treasures I found while looking on Archive.com. I can just see them as labels or decoupaged on something. They are free to use in any of your personal projects. I hope you’re able to make something so cute with them. They are laid out on 8 1/2”x 11” sheets so hopefully they’ll be easy to print.  ..read more
