Repeat takers accounted for 70% of all candidates who sat for the bar exam.
The overall pass rate was 33.9%,
The first time taker pass rate was 45%.
The repeat-takers pass rate was 29%.

The New York bar exam results for February 2024 have been released.
Repeat takers accounted for 65% of all candidates who sat for the bar exam, an increase of 2% from last year. 48% of all candidates were foreign educated.
The overall pass rate was 42%, an increase of 2% from last year. The first time taker pass rate was 59%. The repeat-takers pass rate was 33%. The foreign educated candidates had a passing rate of 35%.

The Repeat Taker Pass Rate Was less than 30%
The Florida Bar Exam results for February 2024 were released. There were 593 first time applicants who took the full bar exam. There were 1,548 first time takers who passed the bar exam. The first time takers passed at a low 56.3%%. The repeat taker pass rate was considerably lower.
Here are the Florida results for February 2024 by law school:

University of Florida College of Law: 63.2%
Stetson University College of Law: 69.2%

North Carolina, West Virginia, New Mexico, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Kentucky are the first states to release their bar exam results in March. Bar Professors expect these states will release their bar exam results no later than Friday.
