Find peace and exercise, too is a great way to do both. Combine movement and meditation techniques give you a lift and get your heart pumping.
Before I jump into today’s newsletter post, let me give a plug for my newest podcast which is being released in the next few days. Here’s the link to a great show: Meditation with Blair Abee.

I Was Moved to Do a Healing Meditation for Hawaii
Very early a few mornings ago I woke up in a sweat, finding myself thinking about Hawaii. I must have been dreaming about it.
Ever since I took a deep dive into my meditation practice 5 years ago and began writing about my experiences, I have worked to develop a healing meditation technique that I think might be helpful in times like this. Or when somebody I know might be in distress. Or when my dog is sick.
Sometimes this is the only thing I can do to contribute to improving a situation I find myself in. A healing meditation. Doing som ..read more

Each year we all have an opportunity to have a Christ Consciousness Christmas. Unfortunately, few take advantage of this opportunity. The cultural tinsel and hoopla often drown out the opportunity at this time of year to remember what Jesus became famous for–what he said and did during his sojourn to Planet Earth those many years ago. He achieved a state of Christ Consciousness and then shared what he knew in a way that is still remembered. He showed the way for the rest of us to do the same.
What is Christ Consciousness?
“Christ” comes from the Greek word χριστός (chrīstós), meaning “anointed ..read more

In recent years I have thought January 1 is way too late for New Year’s Day. The shortest day has come and gone, and the days are already getting longer. It’s no wonder our New Year’s resolutions seem somewhat hollow. They are made during a hangover on the wrong day.
The Ancients had it right.
Winter Solstice is our Planet’s New Year’s Day and I think it should be mine too. To me, this makes more sense as a New Year’s Day because it aligns with the rhythm of our solar system rather than the somewhat arbitrary Julian calendar. And, astrologically, the Sun leaves expansive, philosophical Sagitta ..read more

“Give thanks and improve your life” is a phrase used to describe the value of gratitude and appreciation. To shape a better life and as a part of a process for creating abundance.
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.” asserts author Melody Beattie.
Here is the interesting question to ask — “Why is this?” Perhaps because being grateful is a state of mind indicating elevated awareness. The more elev ..read more

What do you think is the greatest accomplishment a human can reach? The Nobel Prize? President of the United States? The most followers on Facebook? Nope. The greatest accomplishment any human can achieve in this life on Earth, or on any life on Earth, is the realization of Christ Consciousness.
Before you stop reading, thinking me a religious fanatic, give a listen. Who are among the most revered of all humans throughout history? Julius Caesar, Cleopatra, Franklin Roosevelt, Elvis,, Einstein, Nelson Mandela? Not by a long shot (except for the last two).
Among the most revered are the followin ..read more

Why “Fear Not” Halloween? Well, because it is Halloween Week. This is said to be a time when the “veil” between 3-dimensional reality and 5-DIMENSIONAL REALITY is said to be thinner than usual. And is interpreted by some to mean that ghosts and goblins are loose.
Foolish, of course, because 5D REALITY is the “heavenly” place we go after we take our last breath on Planet Earth. Not a place to fear.
But humans are fear-based creatures. Fear is our most fundamental emotional driver. And originates from being so vulnerable in the early days of our species’ evolution ..read more

It’s the beginning of week two in my quest to replace my old, worn-out bone hip with titanium. I just discarded the walker and cane and am walking, somewhat slowly, on my own. And began taking the dog for a walk today.
It’s been a somewhat painful process, as you can imagine, softened by some nice drugs. My physical therapist says I have made a remarkable recovery, and am way ahead of the norm in my progress toward getting back to driving and playing tennis
I attribute my recovery to 5 things, all of which have worked together.

I’m sad for my country this 4th of July. I think that is unfortunate that so many people are in so much pain that we have become a country of two tribes. I have been shocked that there are so many people who feel so angry, disenfranchised, and threatened by the way things are unfolding in this collective we call the United States of America. And daily, it seems, we are becoming more and more the Divided States of America.
Our Uncivil War
We are already in the midst of a Civil War. An “Uncivil” War to be more accurate. This is a war that is being fought on mental and emotional planes, more than ..read more

It has been said by many “wise” ones that we are spirits in human bodies, Spirit having a human experience. I think this is backward. I think we are human bodies inside of our Spirit Bodies and that these Spirit Bodies are what give life and form to our human bodies.
You only have to take the example of the death of a human body to see this. When the Spirit departs in death the body begins to disintegrate and ultimately returns to a pile of atoms, cells and electrons. And our Spirit, our Soul crosses over to the Other Side where it continues its Eternal Journey, going on to a new adventure. Of ..read more
