What exactly does ‘let it go’ mean?

I’d like to say that ‘letting it go’ means releasing it from your mind where you are holding onto it. All the problems people have come from their sense of inferiority. This inferiority is not the true mind but a mind that was created while living. It is something we need to let go of instead of trying to satisfy. You may want to ask, however, isn’t life about having dreams, ambitions, and achieving them while we live, right? As we ask ourselves at times; do we eat to live or do we live to eat? In the end, we live to truly live. We were born into this world to recover our origin not about bein ..read more

I remembered a story with a friend when I first meditated, so I wrote it down. Hope this answers to your question. —————————————- I felt that my mind was disorganized and cluttered, so I decided to meditate. I asked a friend, “Would you like to meditate with me?” My friend scoffed and said, “I’d much rather use my time to study to get myself certified and promoted” But I still went to the meditation center diligently, fighting the temptation to just go straight home and rest after work. After a few weeks of meditating on my cluttered mind through the method, my concentration improved ..read more

Meditation, one of the most effective ways to Sleep Better

Spend 10-15 Minutes in Meditation Meditation is one of the most effective ways to improve sleep. Research has demonstrated that meditation practices support the body’s circadian rhythm to induce sleep. It’s important to take time daily to clear our mind of all the chatter and clutter from the day’s activities. We need to go to the bathroom every day to clear our bodies of waste. Likewise, it’s equally necessary to take time to clear our minds – and right before bed is the perfect time to do it. Turn your phone off completely while you’re meditating so that you’re not disturbed. Research on Me ..read more

– Sophie Hwang The season had changed. Summer was over, and the cold wind blew, and it got cold. It was already autumn. I felt the cold from the floor of the living room. I went back to bed and covered myself with a blanket. I wanted to keep sleeping. I had a lot on my mind. I got overwhelmed with helplessness and a sense of guilt, which made me heavy. I felt like I was deep down in the swamp. That was when I suddenly saw the closet. ‘Oh, that’s right. I have to arrange clothes for cold weather and put the summer clothes away.’ Just thinking about it made my mind heavier. Many things were to d ..read more

– Sophie Hwang “One can promise actions, but not feelings, for the latter are involuntary. He who promises to love forever or hate forever or be forever faithful to someone is promising something that is not in his power.” – Friedrich Nietzsche Emotion is a feeling such as happiness, love, fear, anger, or hatred, which can be caused by the situation you are in or the people you are with. It is formed with experience and stored in the form of memory. We may remember some emotions at the conscious level, while others are buried deeper, undetected by us. It says we are creatures of emotions. Em ..read more

How Can You Always Remain Happy?

– Ellen Park First, we can think about the answer to this question for a while, What kind of mind is embedded in my mind? What’s the biggest mind that controls me? It’s going to be different for each person. It can be love to someone. Or it can be money, family, parents, or fame. Depending on what I embedded in my mind, I live under the control of that mind. For example, someone has a lot of mind of seeking love in them, that much their mind is controlled by love. When we feel lacking in what we obsess in our mind, we feel despair and pain. But what I’d like to share is, that kind of mind that ..read more

Letting go of thoughts, and making room for life

You may have seen the reports from brain scan research sponsored by the National Science Foundation: They discovered that the average person has up to 60,000 thoughts a day, of which 80% were negative, and a staggering 95% of those thoughts were repetitive from the day before. This seems hard to believe at first, but if you take time to look at the nature of your own thoughts, you may find that they are probably not too different from what those researchers found. The Vicious Cycle Let’s think about this for a moment: if the majority of our thoughts are negative and repetitive, how much of ou ..read more
