I’ve lived in Texas all my life and I’ve heard rumors about Disney World building a park in North Texas for the last 20 years. Specifically, there were plenty of rumors about one being built IN my hometown of Van Alstyne, TX (about 1.5 hours north of Dallas). There are NO current plans to build a Disney themed park anywhere in Texas.
