Based on the amount of sleep training coaches, articles, and books out in the market today, you would think that babies are meant to sleep through the night.
When I had my baby girl, sleeping through the night was the key question asked by just about everyone I met.
I would be at the grocery store and at least one person who noticed my adorable baby girl was going to ask me at one point, "Is she sleeping through the night yet?"
It was almost as if her first goal-post to reach in life was being able to sleep through the night. And for a sleep-deprived mom, as I was, it's effortless to ..read more

It's astounding how words can either mess with us or make us better.
And by mess with us, I mean the words that attach to who we are. Sometimes on a conscious level, but so many times, it happens in the subconscious.
In the subconscious, it lays there, and without us even realizing it, it will hold us back or make us feel less than enough. So through hypnotherapy and mindfulness, I healed on the subconscious to clear the words and their attachment.
The younger we are, the more profound the impact of the words. So in this article, I will specifically talk about what you should never s ..read more

The other day I ran into an Instagram reel of a Child Occupational Therapist who now works with moms directly. And she was disapproving of an author who wrote a book on conscious self-care and other people (without naming their names) who advise mothers to take various steps to care for themselves and rewire their brains to become happier moms.
Her opinion was that moms are too busy for that, and she kept saying things like, "You don't have time for that!" ("That" being anything from positive affirmations to self-care). She also promoted her class that is meant to teach ..read more

Parenting a toddler is not for the faint at heart. They are so much fun, completely adorable, do the cutest things in the world while also having absolutely no sense of logic (at times, well, most of the time).
And for you, the logical parent that you are, this can be pretty frustrating. Probably why you’re here reading gentle discipline techniques for toddlers! I get it.
Try all you might, parenting a toddler with an authoritarian parenting style of "Because I said so!" doesn't work. Not to mention that it can mess up your kid to use this parenting style.

How to Become a Plant Mom and Grow Indoor Plants
As of date, I have 103 indoor plants in my 1,000 square feet townhome.
But, I didn't always know how to grow plants. So, I tried for about 15 years on and off to grow indoor plants. You see, my mother is an herbalist and she loves having plants. So, naturally, I, too, wanted to have greenery in and out of my home.
But, every time I tried, my plants would die. And I'd give u ..read more
