This book is a standalone, but best read with the Mafia Royals series. Rachel has always had this way of bringing these characters to life for me. Mafia King is a novella set in the Mafia Royals world. It can be read alone, but it is set after Destructive King and before Fallen Dynasty. “I blamed him as much as I wanted him.” OMG! I wasn’t prepared for this book. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever read and it doesn’t fall into one troupe. It’s about finding love we deserve and rewriting our worth. It’s a beautiful story with a bomb drop I wasn’t expecting. Meagan always writes great heroines and this one was no different.
