There has been plenty of fan speculation on social media connecting the New York Jets to free-agent offensive tackle David Bakhtiari this offseason.
However, Connor Hughes of SNY told Joe Caporoso of “Badlands” that the connections between the two parties are “real.”
“I think the Bakhtiari thing is real, it’s just a matter of his health though. I checked in on it just into free agency I would say, it feels like a year and a half ago at this point. Right after free agency I checked in on it and I was just told that he’s not healthy right now,” Hughes explained on the “War Room” episode of “Badl ..read more

The New York Jets tried trading for superstar wide receiver Keenan Allen this offseason.
After failing in that pursuit, the green and white were able to reinvest that money to make an even bigger impact.
“They did try to get Keenan Allen,” Rich Cimini of ESPN explained to Will Parkinson of “TOJ Talks.” “That cap number would have totally restricted them from doing other things. There is probably no Haason Reddick on the team right now if they have Keenan Allen.”

Aaron Rodgers spent 18 years with the Green Bay Packers from 2005 through 2022. Not once did Green Bay ever select a wide receiver or tight end in the first round of the NFL draft.

General manager Joe Douglas continues to be transparent about the team’s willingness to trade Wilson. However, Brian Costello with The New York Post believes that if the Jets can’t find a trade partner during the 2024 NFL Draft, then it’s time for the team to cut ties.
