The Georgia Bulldog’s 2024 season will be the third under head coach Tony Baldwin. Georgia finished 2023 with a 41 and 15 overall record along with finishing second in the SEC with a 16 and 7 record. They were eliminated from post-season tournament play in the Super Regional round ending their 2023 season. The Lady Vols had a remarkable 2023 season, finishing with a 19-5 record in the SEC and clinching both the SEC regular season and SEC Tournament titles. They boasted an overall record of 51-10, marking their first-ever 50-win season. Additionally, the Lady Vols made it to the national semifinals at the WCWS for the first time since 2013, but their dream season came to a close with a 5-1 loss to Florida State. Texas head coach Mike White has kept the softball program in the top tier since his move from Oregon to the Forty Acres. Two years ago they made it to the championship series before losing to perennial top dog Oklahoma. And last year making it to the Super Regionals before losing to a stout Tennessee team.
