We've been seeing a lot of spring colors on recently released stationery from the new Sailor Smoothie Pro Gears to Pentel Calme 0.35mm ballpoint pens to the brand new Kaweco Sport Apricot Pearl. Introducing Melany! Mel joined Team Yoseka in August of last year, right as we were preparing for our biggest Hobonichi release yet! She had about two days to learn our whole organizational system and by the time Hobonichi Day came, she was able to help our team work on all the orders we got and she’s been here for every major release we’ve had since she started. At the end of last year, as we prepared for 2024, Neil and I thought about the experience of our shop, which all comes from how we first started Yoseka in 2017. At the time, we had an idea to introduce Asian stationery to people here in the US. Having grown up in a stationery store in Taiwan, Neil’s concept of stationery was so different from the stationery available here. Hi everyone! It’s May with this year’s holiday edition postcard! As you may know, I made a drawing for last year’s card, showing Team Yoseka as elves working on orders through the holiday season. It was such a cute drawing that included recognizable details about our team members and some of our favorite stationery items.
