Andre Dillard, the former Eagles first-round pick, secured a huge pay day last season after signing with the Titans. His time there didn’t last long as he was released earlier this offseason. Though some thought Dillard may be a good depth piece the Eagles looked to bring back, it seems that won’t be the case. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Dillard is now signing with the Green Bay Packers. Packers have signed former Titans and Eagles OT Andre Dillard. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) April 18, 2024 The Eagles are projected to target some top offensive linemen in the draft which isn’t much ..read more

NFL Offseason: Isaiah Rodgers Reportedly Not Among Five Reinstated Players
Sports Talk Philly: Philadelphia Sports News and Rumors
by Paul Bowman

That may throw a wrench into things for some Eagles fans. Isaiah Rodgers was signed by the Eagles later last offseason as the Birds looked to give him a second chance and hopefully improve their roster for 2024. It certainly seems like that is far less likely to happen now. On Thursday, Rodger Goodell reinstated five players from gambling suspension per Tom Pelissero. Isiah Rodgers was not one of those names. The NFL is reinstating five players who were suspended indefinitely last year for violating the gambling policy: former #Lions WR Quintez Cephus, S C.J. Starting roughly 12 hours after the 2023-24 season came to an end in Game 82 for the Flyers, the players went through exit interviews and prepared to depart for the summer. One thing was evident, the sting of failing to make the playoffs after being competitive all season long was still very fresh. The other natural feeling is the awareness of the unknown between one season to the next. There are always changes to be made, and with the Flyers still in the midst of a rebuild, there are certainly changes and moves that could come over the next few months. Here are a few of the standout quotes fr ..read more

Biggest Takeaway of 2023-24 Flyers Season: How They Missed the Playoffs
Sports Talk Philly: Philadelphia Sports News and Rumors
by Kevin Durso
2d ago
Tuesday night’s season finale for the Flyers was certainly a far cry from the previous season. In 2022-23, the season was essentially over by Thanksgiving. Everything after the trade deadline seemed rather meaningless. Games like that provide no juice, making it a struggle to find motivation to play them at all. That is where the Flyers deserve credit for the 2023-24 season. This team was scrappy. It knew it didn’t have the talent that others do, but scratched and clawed their way into playoff contention when no one gave them much of a chance. It’s what made the final result sting so much. Flyers vs. Capitals Preview: The Final Countdown
Sports Talk Philly: Philadelphia Sports News and Rumors
by Kevin Durso

Back-to-back wins on Thursday and Saturday gave the Flyers some life. There was a chance that they could be in a position to not only take over the final playoff spot after Tuesday night, but even clinch if everything broke their way. On Monday night, none of that happened, and it showed what happens when a team has to rely on watching the scoreboard. So now, the Flyers play the final game of the regular season, and the only control they have on their playoff lives depends solely on a regulation win over the Washington Capitals. In addition, the Flyers would need a regulation loss from Detroit ..read more
