Computers today are complex machines that require well-matched components. The Raspberry Pi is a powerful microcomputer, but it also requires the right components (power supply, microSD card) - otherwise unexpected problems may occur.
We provide you with well-coordinated Raspberry Pi solutions, and the right service to go with it. We believe that the future lies in artificial intelligence and..

Per default, the Zyxel NR7102 (a 5G router) has some atypical settings, which one would not expect. Here’s some notes on how to set the device up. I assume that you are using a PoE switch to power the Zyxel NR7102, and your computer is connected using Ethernet.
The default admin password is on the back of the device.
When the device starts, and you log in for the first time, you will be asked to change the admin password. Also, you can then set up the WiFi network and set up the local timezone.
Usually I had to log in again in another tab, as it would hang after setting the WiFi network. (the ..read more

I have migrated our Envoy installation from Envoy 1.11.1 to 1.28.0, and am now also using SNI for selecting the correct certificate.
A big part of that migration is upgrading the syntax of the configuration for Envoy from the v2 API to the v3 API.
The upgrade went well, except for our websocket-based MQTT service (based on VerneMQ) not working as expected.
At first I assumed, that the issue was in envoy. After trying many timeout options, and looking at the envoy documentation, I have decided to experiment with a new route, and a different broker (Mosquitto) behind it.

This was the result of a colloboration between me (with programming skills, but not in PowerShell!) and ChatGPT. It blows my mind away, what can be done with ChatGPT – this is what work IS supposed to be! Quick, without researching every single line. Human and machine in perfect colloboration:
# PowerShell script to get A and AAAA records for a list of domains, with debug output
# Define the path to the domain list and output CSV file
$domainListPath = "C:\your\path\domains.txt"
$outputCsvPath = ".\domain_records.csv"
# Read the list of domains from the file
$domains = Get-Content $domainLi ..read more

Usually cameras work with so-called “rolling shutters” – this means that the pixels which the camera registers are not stored all at once, but in a sequence of lines. If the speed of a moving object is fast enough, this will be noticeable in a single frame or image which the camera captures.
The Raspberry Pi global shutter camera solves this problem by capturing all pixels at once and with the same duration.
This way, you can capture moving objects, and it allows you to freeze movement.
This camera is well-suited for industrial environments, e.g. conveyor belt monitoring with artificial intel ..read more

A customer approached me about wanting to develop a medical device based on the Raspberry Pi. They have two stipulations:
This should be a Class 1 medical device
The device should connect to the Internet
It is for the European market
I have investigated the available resources and suggestions with several partners, and am collecting their feedback on this page, for the reference of anyone who is exploring integrating a Raspberry Pi in their application.

Raspberry Pi themselves state that their products should not be used in safety-critical applications, including life-support sy ..read more

This image has been generated by a batch conversion – the original image is very big and has a transparent background.
In IrfanView, you can modify the output color of the finished image. To do that, you need to go into the main application, not the advanced settings in the batch concersion window.
Click on Options -> Properties/Settings.
Select the Viewing entry here, and go to Window options.
Click the Choose button, to set the Main window color. This will be the color which your batch converted images will have as a background, after they are converted.
A bit counterintuitive. Also a g ..read more

Recently a new feature appeared in WhatsApp – WhatsApp channels.
Currently, not everyone can create a channel. The official WhatsApp documentation advises to join the waitlist. I have spent some time right now, and also changed my main WhatsApp account to a business account – to no avail. I can’t join the waitlist
This is what I see under the “+” sign – only the option to find channels. There is no “join waitlist” option for me. (Note: this is the same on the business account – this photo is showing my secondary WhatsApp).
I’m posting this for everyone who is as stumped as me, and wants to jo ..read more

Unfortunately this is not documented on Shopify’s own help.
To give staff members (e.g. developers) permission to add webhooks on Shopify, they need the Store Settings / Manage settings permission, possibly also “View customer events” and “Manage and add custom pixels” and “Store policies” permissions:
setting these up in addition to App development helped my colleague to access the Shopify webinterface.
