COVID-19 and the COVID-19 Vaccine has nothing to do with politics for me. If that is your position, I’d like to share a bit of my story and why I chose to get the COVID-19 Vaccine. My hope is to remove the lens of politics and divide from the conversation by sharing my heartfelt story. Where do I begin? I’ll start with me. I am a two time PE Blood Clot survivor, the last of which left me with perm ..read more

Thank you Juicy Juice for sponsoring our Halloween at home fun. My kids have been going on and on about pumpkins, Halloween, their costumes and what we will be doing on the big day. Needless to say, this mom had to come up with a few ideas to occupy their time since we won’t be going trick or treating this year. We plan on doing our own trick or treating of sorts at home but this week my son asked to decorate the house thanks to his aunt giving us lots of Halloween inspired decor from her stash. These juice box DIY Halloween luminaries are a fun craft project that fit the occasion. As yo ..read more

Thank you Penguin Books for sponsoring this post about affirmations for my son inspired by ‘I Am Every Good Thing‘. “I Am Every Good Thing” “I am a roaring flame of creativity” “I am good to the core, like the center of a cinnamon roll. Staying at home for months on end (7 months and counting) has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions to say the least. I found solace in my summer garden in a way that far exceeds the calm it normally brings to me. I’ve cried, grieved, laughed and spent a lot of time digging in but also being still ..read more
