In just a few weeks, the first Disney Cruise Line guests will set foot on the shores of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

As fans eagerly await the arrival of the latest addition to Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Treasure, Disney has done a great job of keeping them updated on the ship’s progress.
The last time we got an update on the Treasure’s development was at the end of March when we learned that the Treasure was set afloat for the first time!

Earlier this year, the Disney Cruise Line gave fans a sneak peek at the new costumes that Mickey and Minnie will be wearing when guests arrive at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point later this year.
The new threads were designed by acclaimed Bahamian fashion designer Theodore Elyett and inspired by the Bahamian festival Junkanoo!

On Monday, a 35-year-old pregnant woman was evacuated off of the Disney Fantasy due to health complications.

Later this year, another vessel will officially join the Disney Cruise Line when the Disney Treasure sets sail.
The last time we checked in on the progress of Disney’s newest ship, work was being done on the Treasure’s hull at Meyer Werft Shipyard in Papenberg, Germany. Then, we learned more about the new Haunted Mansion Parlor that will debut on the ship.
