April marks an unusual time when they are no City Council meetings in Irvine.  But when May rolls around, Council member Kathleen Treseder is going to push for an undemocratic and possibly unconstitutional ban on public protests outside private residences modeled after an attempt to do so in Santa Ana. Politico reports that the DCCC has taken to the road in CA-45 to educate voters in neighborhoods and on the board about Rep. Michelle Steel’s support for the life at Conception Act, which bars in-vitro fertilization treatments that Steel herself used to start a family.
