EXTERIOR & BACKYARD
Today is the day! It’s the final installment of #myhouse tour. Spring has sprung, at least here in Houston, so I figured it’s a great time to talk about exteriors. If you’re playing catch up, you can find the rest of the home tour in parts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
EXTERIOR
When thinking about my home’s aesthetic, I wanted something that was traditional, yet updated. I also wanted to pay homage to the Historic Houston Heights and some of the surrounding architecture which is eclectic but storied. Thus, I chose a neo-Tudor-style home. Tudor style is reminiscent of English ..read more

Hello again! Welcome to the last of our interior tour of #MyHouse. Hint, the next tour will be all about the exterior details. EVE’S ROOM AND BATHROOM, BOYS’ ROOM AND BATHROOM
Hi there! I’m happy that you’re back. Today’s tour will be quick but some of these spaces you haven’t seen and I’m excited to show you. I’ll take you through my daughter’s room and bathroom, along with my sons’ room and bathroom. I’ve said it before, but it’s so much fun to design kids’ spaces. To me, it’s always important to create a space that kids can grow into. In my opinion, kids grow entirely too quickly and I love to think through how children and spaces can mature.

We’ve got so much to cover at our Royal Point project and today, part two of our tour continues. Tremendous thought and detail went into making the white kitchen, living, and breakfast nook perfect for this six-member family. Our goal was to give them a utility space to cook, eat, play, relax and just be a family. From heavy, 90s-inspired Mediterranean design to light, bright and fresh, you’ll love Royal Point’s continued transformation. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out part one of our tour that includes the entryway, formal living room, and dining room.

We’re living large back at our #RoyalPoint project. This space, once home to a dated office and wine storage room, has thoughtfully transformed into luxurious sitting and wine rooms, perfect aged reds, and compelling conversation. The adjoining spaces allow two separate and interesting rooms to be enjoyed from a singular vantage point. The Living Room design plays with different levels of saturation in a monochromatic palette while beautifully juxtaposed by the lighter and more natural Wine Room. Be sure to see the before and after images in the gallery below.
