Motorcycle riders are being invited to help set a new ride-in record as MotoFest Coventry celebrates its 10th anniversary. Organisers are revving up for the new record on Saturday, June 1, with plans to have more than 500 classic and modern two-wheeled machines involved in a spectacular start to the 2024 festival at the City Centre Sprint Circuit. Thousands of bikers met up in tribute to Hairy Bikers star Dave Myers. Dominic Lipinski/PA Wire Bikers from across the country met up to raise money for cancer research in homage to Dave Myers, who died in February at the age of 66 after a battle with cancer. Over 6,000 motorcyclists rode from Beverley to Whitby in tribute to the late star. For 2024, the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) has announced that the Vintage Cup will feature a 350cc Grand Prix class. Team Obsolete will fabulously support the cup with eight different iconic 350cc GP bikes from its stable, each at a different circuit. They will be ridden by multi-champion Dave Roper. The bikes range in age from 1951 to 1967 and include an MV three, Benelli four and multiple AJS 7Rs, including the TT-winning 7R3.
