This was the wedding to end all weddings, they basically had our entire team, Gloam doing the styling, Tim from Schillicious making the cake, Claire Fleck as the photographer and of course we handled the food & bar! Big shout out to Cat from Fin Flukra wedding planner who was excellent on the day and we worked very closely with to ensure everything happened on time. Gloam had kitted the whole venue out with all their stylish nick nacks and it looked amazing. They had excellent weather and J ..read more

Kate and Graham had a large wedding at Falside Mill in St. Andrews, they brought their beautiful golden retriever Betty who even wore a little flower crown during the drinks reception and ceremony. Even the cake topper was a miniature version of Betty with a flower crown! It was the sweetest thing ever. images courtesy of @neilthomasdouglas Weather was a bit hit and miss on the day but that didn’t dampen the mood at all, they had their ceremony in the Ceremony hall and then moved to the main room for dinner. Guests mingled in the courtyard for drinks where confetti rained down and a string tr ..read more

B+M were quite possibly one of the most excited couples we’ve had to date, even from the tasting day a month before their wedding, it was clear these two couldn’t wait to be married, making it such an enjoyable process for us all to be a part of.  Their excitement was so infectious that when the big day finally came, even we were giddy! B+M got married in the Mackintosh church in Glasgow, with a private drinks reception with some of their party, giving us time to set up at the venue, Engine Works. The venue was decorated with moss features along the tables and with beautifully styled bran ..read more

Make the Office Transition Easier with our Breakfast and Lunch Boxes

It can be an adjustment getting back into office life. Breakfasts and lunches were easy, you could walk over to your stocked fridge and fry up an egg, slice up some fresh avocado and make a feel good meal for yourself.  Bonus points - you could do that all in your slippers. Now that we progress back into the office, it’s difficult to remember what we ever did for working meals before WFH.  Though some of us do remember, but we’re trying to forget (to simply put it, there’s no way I can return to cuppa soups after a year of hearty meals). But the reality is that avocados are grumpy ..read more

Weddings are one of the most important and meaningful days, and let’s be real, dessert is the most important meal of the day, so we have made a handy list of our favourite wedding desserts from past weddings and tastings! Up first absolutely has to be our sticky toffee pudding (definitely one for some of our last meal lists) which is served with cream and a sweet toffee sauce; one that’ll stay in your guests memories for years to come.  Yum. Next we have our panna cotta, which is served with champagne and basil poached strawberries; a really fresh and creamy way to round up your meal ..read more

S+E booked with us back in 2018 and we were finally able to welcome them to Pantry Events HQ for a tasting with their aunties in June, making sure they had the perfect menu for the perfect day.  It truly was worth the wait. We had an early start to make our way to Carrick Castle, passing the beautiful Loch Lomond along the way. As we approach Carrick Castle estate, we can understand why this was S+E’s venue for their big day, as the estate is surrounded in beauty. Perched on the side of Loch Goil is a massive house for the guests to stay in, which has a grassy area stretching out in fro ..read more

Though it was a drizzly day throughout, The Rhynd was a warm and cosy escape from the weather, and was the perfect place for S&A to hold their special day. It was a beautiful renovated farm barn wedding, with brightly coloured flowers and minimal decorations, letting the original structures peek through as the star of the show, adding the perfect combination of rusticness and class. S&A had already gotten married in November, but wanted to use this day to celebrate with their loved ones. The guests arrived to a movie theme playlist, giving everyone an ideal of the fun to come.  T ..read more

August 2020. It still makes you feel a bit queasy to say it right? No festival, no nightclubs, going to a café or restaurant for the first time in months. It was all a bit weird. Well life still marches on, and luckily the filming was given the green light for the Farmers Apprentice 2020. Two members of our event team set off down to Jedburgh to make sure these hard working farmers were always sent off to work with full bellies and had an heart warming meal to look forward to, especially as the rain lashed down for the whole week. The team got to work prepping for a week of serving breakfast ..read more

N+A tied the knot on 05.08.2021 at the stunning Netherbyres House along the coast in Eyemouth.   Netherbyres is most certainly one of our more unusual venues, being a restored retirement home.  With striking colours and wallpaper throughout the house, bright furniture and quite possibly the funkiest bar we have ever seen, this venue is not one to forget. The husband and wife dream team, Sarah and Mike, own this stunning establishment and were onsite to help out and manage the day, making sure N+A had the most perfect day. Both the welcome drinks and the reception took place on ..read more
