Incoming visitors will no longer have to present a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before going on a windsurfing holiday to Mauritius. (Port Louis, 12 March 2022) The Republic of Mauritius drops the requirement for all incoming visitors to present a negative PCR test before being allowed into Mauritius. Previously, fully vaccinated passengers had to present a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure. Effective from now (16 March 2022), fully vaccinated travellers will no longer have to present a negative PCR test taken before arrival in Mauritius. Covid-19 testing is still required on arrival (day 0) in Mauritius, and it is mandatory to arrange Covid-19 insurance health cover. Emirates has expanded its Covid-19 insurance offer with additional multi-risk travel cover for all customers who buy a ticket from 1 December. The insurance is free to customers and includes up to $500,000 emergency medical expense cover; and trip cancellation cover.
