The Test Team of the Windsurf Magazine conducted an ultimate test of the Freewave boards in size of 95 liters. Boards in this category have it all from bump and jump to freeride speed. We are super excited to welcome a new freestyler on the Starboard Dream Team: Meiky Wieczorek. Meiky is from Munich, Germany and he is currently living at Lago di Garda. He has been freestyling for more than 15 years and he is pushing the limits regardless of the temperature, conditions and weather. The second stop of the 2024 unified IWT and PWA Wave Tour took place from the 1st to the 12th of April in Matanzas, Chile. The conditions couldn’t be better and we witnessed a proper world-class wave action. Our young riders were absolutely unstoppable and reached inspiring results. The first stop of the Freestyle Pro Tour 2024 took place in warm Cape Town. The event consisted of 2 parts: a single elimination on the Rietvlei Lake on the flat water and a double elimination in the waves at the Paternoster. Our Dream Team rider Lennart Neubauer entered the 2024 battle for the European Title in the yellow jersey. Above all, his goal is to defend his maiden European Freestyle Title from 2023. Lorenzo from WindCam took our 2024 Starboard Ultra and put it through proper testing. He was riding the Starboard Ultra in different conditions at the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Sea.
