WFSJ members can benefit from direct access to Wiley Online Library, a resource with over 1,700 journals, 260-plus reference works and more than 27,000 books.
To activate this benefit as a Full Member Association, representatives should download and fill in this form and send it to office@wfsj.org. The Wiley Account Manager will contact you to provide access once we receive the signed form.

This year’s competition for travel funding to attend the 2025 AAAS Annual Meeting is open to early-career science journalists in the following countries:
The Balkans: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia
Eastern Europe: Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine
Applicants must have no more than five years of professional science journalism experience in order to be eligible for the fellowship.

Under open skies, surrounded by trees, butterflies and with a backdrop of birdsong, WCSJ 2023 took place in the stunning Jardín Botanico in Medellín, Colombia. It was one of the first in-person events since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Scientists, policymakers and science journalists gathered in Lusaka, Zambia, this November in order to discuss how to bring vaccine manufacturing to the continent.
The third Conference for Public Health in Africa – organised by the continent’s health agency Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) – sought to push forward proposals for Africa to manage health outbreaks through home-grown vaccine manufacturing and effective health coordination across the continent.

The World Conference of Science Journalists 2025 is being launched with the announcement of the choice of the Blue Crane to symbolize this historic event, the first time the WFSJ has held a global conference on African soil.

The popularity of the WFSJ’s Press Card program has set the stage for one of the organization’s most ambitious projects — an exclusive listing of science journalists who belong to our member associations.
The information obtained through each application is being converted into a searchable directory in a protected area of the WFSJ web site. This new resource has been created in collaboration with the developer of the web site with the protection of members’ privacy as a fundamental priority.
