Ndola High Court By SHAMAOMA MUSONDA – THE ruling on whether the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Annual General Meeting (AGM) should go ahead or not will have to wait for one more week after the Ndola High Court yesterday adjourned the inter-parte hearing. The reasons for adjourning the hearing to Thursday next week is that the plaintiff, Damiano Mutale has firstly asked that one more third party be joined to the case and also that the matter should be moved to the Constitutional Court. By KETRA KALUNGA – A LEADING Finland-based online intercity bus booking platform AfriKonekta has expanded its operations to Zambia to digitalise the transport sector. Chief Executive Officer Tichaona Dande said the innovative platform allows passengers to buy bus tickets at a cost of $1 to travel to any part of the country, providing a seamless digital booking payment experience. Mulenga By CHATULA KANGALI – ZAMBIA has become fertiliser secure and is no longer dependent on imports to sustain the production of crops, the Government has revealed. Commerce, Trade and Industry Minister Chipoka Mulenga said that the country was now consuming its own fertiliser. Hamoonga By MUNAMBEZA MUWANEI – SIX people have been burnt to ashes after a fuel tanker carrying fuel lost control and collided with a truck that was transporting cement in Pilyeshi area of Serenje District yesterday. The six include a tanker driver and five passengers that were in a Howo Dangote truck that was transporting cement. The Dangote truck collided with the overturned tanker, igniting a blaze that consumed both vehicles and resulted in the tragic loss of lives and extensive damage to property. Read more ..read more
