A couple with Filipino-Chinese roots was based abroad for many years and have decided to make a cozy home for themselves in a premium high-rise in Manila. The spaces were subtly imbued with the owners’ identity, preferences, and sensibilities by the use of select family heirloom pieces, furniture, and art. The primary bedroom, featuring separate desks for the couple, took its color palette from a painting of eight horses hung on the wall. The second bedroom was designed with the comfort of an elderly relative and her nurses in mind. Restrained and careful curation is key ..read more

Before & After photos of our obstetrics and gynecology clinic project located at St Luke’s Medical City, QC. A total renovation wherein we replaced worn out flooring, ceiling, wall finishes, and lighting and bathroom fixtures, answering our client’s wishes to accommodate her patients comfortably and efficiently. The reception area was also packed with storage and ample lighting while considering her assistant’s need to accomplish filing and secretarial tasks.

Renovation of an obstetrics and gynecology clinic of a doctor at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City. The space is split into two areas via pocket doors: a consultation area, examination room, and bathroom on one side, and a reception and waiting area on another. Storage was maximized through built-in cabinets without cramping the already tight space. For many years the client, a reproductive medicine specialist, was sharing with a dental clinic but she was finally able to obtain her own room for the convenience and comfort of her patients, and improved efficiency for her practice.

Before this charming house became what it is today, it underwent a few months of massive renovation. Our clients bought the house from a retired school teacher who was ready to let go of the space. Immediately, plans to convert it into an elegant and welcoming place were kicked off. See completed renovation photos here.
We tried to design with traditional mountain province elements combined with American colonial influence which you can never really take out of Baguio culture. Critical space planning was required in order to divide the rooms for big family-style sleepovers in what was or ..read more

A visual story of the transformation of our beach house project: we had to work with an existing layout that had no clear space delineations, challenging column placements, and dim, mismatched lighting fixtures. To create a harmonious space, we installed ash-gray wood slats that instead drew the eye to a consistent texture that wrapped around the interior of the house, with daylight from simplified window treatments lending tranquility to the space.
To avoid unnecessary wastage of existing finishes, demolition was minimized through clever use of accent tiles, good lighting, and thoughtfully pl ..read more
