Friday, March 29th 2024 Recently I just had our Team Lunch for my high school team. This has been a tradition since I began teaching and coaching at the high school level and it’s a good way of wrapping up the season and saying goodbye to our Grade 11s, who won’t be back for the next year. This year however was different. Having booked our bus for 6:00 pm to leave from the GMAA Championships, we ended up leaving finally at 7:30 after all our athletes were done, bypassing completely the final team standings and medal presentations.
