Sarah Holten received the Te Tohu Iho Pūmanawa award for her remarkable mixed-media artistry. Holten, an artist of Ngāti Maniapoto and Tūwharetoa descent, passed away shortly before she was to receive Te Tohu Iho Pūmanawa and was celebrated posthumously at Te Waka Toi Awards. Lisa Holten, her mother, accepted the award on her behalf. Spectrum Foundation have granted us funding for $30,000 to Panacea Arts Charitable Trust to assist out Art Therapy Programmes for children, teenagers and young adults. These are the Creative Art Therapy classes: for Kids, on a Tuesday at 4 - 5.30pm, for Teens at 4 - 5.30pm on Thursdays and for Young Adults at 6 - 7.30pm on Thursdays.
