Living and working in New Zealand is more enticing with the additions to New Zealand’s Green List announced by the Minister of Immigration and Transport in April 2023. New changes confirmed as the transport sector agreement is finalised. To provide support to the national infrastructure of New Zealand, in December 2022 a transport sector agreement was announced by the Minister of Immigration and Transport. Under this agreement, truck drivers primarily with a class 4 or 5 licence, as well as bus drivers, are eligible for a 2-year work to residence pathway.
