As an active fur harvester with over 40 trapping seasons under my belt, I was very thankful for another productive season and the time I could spend out in the field. I caught 80 coyotes, 10 foxes, 5 wolves, 2 lynx, 25 beaver, 52 muskrats and 8 squirrels. The top fur prices were paid for my select top grade coyotes. Prices fell dramatically for damaged and inferior goods. Anyone that has hunted with me knows that I usually wear my King of the Mountain jacket out in the field and I highly recommend wearing wool clothes in natural colors.
