The Society for News Design is proud to announce results from the 45th edition of the Best of News Design Creative Competition. Winners will be selected by 44 visual journalists who will gather in Minneapolis to assess the best work published in 2023. More than 35 organizations from around the world were represented in the makeup of the judging panel.
The competition is taking place from May 8-10, 2024 hosted by the Star Tribune in Minneapolis.

Attention Student Designers! It’s your turn to show off your best work
All currently enrolled college students may enter. Entries can be work done for a college class, a student publication, an internship or a job. Entries must be electronically submitted Thursday, March 21, 2024 by 11:59 p.m., and must have been created between February 1, 2023 and February 1, 2024.

Gathering your entries for the 45th Society for News Design Competition? Here are some tips for both digital and print entries to help make your submission process as seamless as possible and set your entries up for judging success.
We are currently accepting entries into the competition and the AwardForce submission portal is open. Entries must be submitted by Feb. 23 to get regular pricing standards, with a late entry period and raised entry fees from Feb. 24 to March 8.
