SEGA has announced the launch of the Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! game on the Nintendo Switch today. A new key visual and PV trailer have been released for The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3, which begins its “Steeplechase Arc” next week on May 3, 2024.  The 30-second trailer highlights Tatsuya Shiba and his friends preparing to face a new threat. Variety has reported that the Studio Ponoc-produced The Imaginary movie, which Netflix picked up in January, will begin streaming on July 5. Additionally, there are plans to have an Oscar-qualifying run for the film. Kodansha USA confirmed with Anime News Network that it has licensed the fantasy manga adaptation of Nahoko Uehashi’s The Beast Player manga adaptation for digital release on May 14, 2024. The first tankobon volume will be available upon release across all participating digital vendors.  Itoe Takemoto is handling the art for The Beast Player manga, with Uehashi credited with the story. GKIDS and Anime Limited have announced a multi-territory acquisition of Naoko Yamada’s latest anime film The Colors Within (known in Japan as Kimi no Iro). The film will be released in Japan on August 30, 2024 after an initial delay from its Fall 2023 release.
