The gypsies are the biggest scam artists in Europe. On average, each gypsy scams 300-400 Euros a day from unsuspecting tourists. Most of that money goes back to the gypsy gang leader in Romania. We took a day trip from Boca Chica up to the town of Boquete, Panama. The drive can be done in about 90 minutes. We were able to follow good quality secondary roads off the Panamerican Highway that took us through scenic terrain. Boquete is a popular town for visitors. There are many boutique hotels with high end restaurants. A lot of expats live here. They are attracted to the cool weather and the outdoor activities like hiking and rafting. We first visited Monte Carlo Casino in Monaco with our children and fell in love with the Côte D’Azur. A few years later we set-up house for a month in the old town of Nice. We spent the month explored the region using their excellent public bus service. The buses are luxury coaches and the fare is $2.50 anywhere within a two hour radius. The bus ride from Nice to Monte Carlo is 40 minutes. We took the bus to Monte Carlo every week to play games of chance at the world famous Monte Carlo Casino.
