I can’t emphasize how long I’ve been waiting to visit Charleston, South Carolina. I’d heard that the city was rich in history, culture, and charm. I’d heard that architecture would make me feel like I stepped back in time and that the food would quite literally make my mouth water. I’d heard this from so many people that I knew I had to go see for myself. Just a few years ago I visited South Carolina for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the Lowcountry - Beaufort, Daufuskie Island, and Hilton Head to be exact. I was simply counting down the days until my retur ..read more

The Ultimate 3 Day Guide to Yosemite
Hey Ciara

I recently got to visit Yosemite National Park and I had so much fun exploring, just like I was a kid in a candy store. Yosemite has been on my bucket list for ages, yet I’ve never managed to fit it into my California travels. A few weeks back, I had the opportunity to road trip the region and so many people recommended Yosemite. Let me tell you— it was so worth it. When it comes to nature, I’m a waterfall kind of gal and Yosemite was a waterfall wonderland. My inner child felt at peace. Of course, I had to share the experience with you so that you, too, can make this destination a reality for ..read more

A Weekend Guide To Deer Valley and Heber Valley Utah
Hey Ciara

There’s nothing like a ski trip to make the most of the fresh powder once winter comes around. Skiing along with snowmobiling, snowshoeing, Apres ski, s’mores, hot cider, and more are practically snow trip essentials. That’s why I was stoked to be invited to Deer Valley and Heber Valley by the Utah Office of Tourism for a quintessential ski trip this past winter. First and foremost, I would have the opportunity to ski for the very first time in my life.  Secondly, I’d get the chance to partake in many other winter activities like snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and more! I had a blast living m ..read more

I was invited to Amarillo with Visit Amarillo and HooDoo Mural Fest on a sponsored trip and here’s my weekend guide! All opinions are my own. As someone who was born & raised in Texas (Htown to be exact), I was surprised to discover all that this western town had to offer! Although Amarillo is famous for its Western culture, the city boasts countless other experiences as well! I’m a bit ashamed to say that I’d overlooked this part of the state, but I’m so glad I got to finally visit for myself. Amarillo is rich in history and has an abundance of things to do and see, not to mention some ..read more

Welcome to Wisconsin, Milwaukee, to be exact! This past month, I was invited to discover the hidden gems of Wisconsin. As a person who prefers to travel without any expectations or preconceived notions, I am able to truly experience destinations at face value. Milwaukee. At first impression, Milwaukee is a very walkable city with gorgeous architecture. Something about the layout of the city felt very European. It sits on the shore of Lake Michigan and we LOVE a city that provides the best of both worlds: city vibes & natural beauty. I can’t speak on the weather in the wintertime, but I hap ..read more

I was hosted by Visit Casper and all opinions are my own. Welcome to Wyoming - Casper, Wyoming to be exact! This year I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Wyoming TWICE.
