These are my most frequently asked about jeans and my most worn pair as well. I will be comparing my original pair to a new pair, which I received postpartum, that’s in a different size and wash. Quick Thoughts As a quick overview, you might have guessed it, but yes, I still love these jeans. They have held up so well and I love the overall vintage feel of them. I think the straight-leg fit is a very classic cut and will definitely be a staple in my ..read more

Pause. Read This First. It’s here, the season of sales, giveaways, and more sales. It’s exciting but it can also be very overwhelming and easy to get sucked into all the deals. My goal here is always first to encourage you to style before shopping. So before you dive into the sales, take a peek at what you already own. Make a list of things you have been wanting or need, and while you shop, don’t get veer off your list! Black Friday and Cyber Monday often get a bad rep for being a time of overconsumption, which it definitely can be, but it’s also a great opportunity to support small businesses ..read more

Hello friends! It’s been a little while, but today I’m back to discuss my postpartum dressing journey. Before we get going I have a few thoughts to highlight. Please, please do not be discouraged by this post if you are not back to your pre-pregnancy size. I am not either! This post was written to encourage and show you how you can adapt your wardrobe to fit your changing body. Secondly, take your time with your body and be kind to yourself (a reminder to myself too). The newborn phase is a rollercoaster on all fronts so remember, grace, grace, grace. These are also just ideas and tips that I ..read more

We are nearing the end of my pregnancy, currently writing this at 37 weeks — EEK! There are so many emotions, but excitement is definitely at the centre. I thought it’d be a good time to finally reveal our minimalist, neutral nursery. If you’re a parent out there, you probably learned early on just how expensive baby things are. My husband and I definitely had some major sticker shock when we initially began purchasing things for our baby. You’ll notice a lot of IKEA, some DIYs, and Facebook Marketplace. We received a lot of things secondhand from friends and family and for higher ticket items ..read more

I’ve always loved supporting small brands, creators, and artisans and this year in particular I think it’s more important now than ever to shop small and support independent businesses where we can. There’s a time and place for the big box stores and I’m definitely all about balance and the process, however, I’d love to encourage you to shop small this season. I’ve curated a list of small businesses that I’ve been admiring from afar or have tried and or worked with in the past. I also tried to feature as many Canadian businesses as possible because I always love supporting local where I can. T ..read more
