Lake Como is an absolute hidden gem located in the Bitterroot Valley. I have wanted to shoot there since moving back to Montana last fall. It has stunning rocky beaches, incredible vistas of the bitterroot mountains, and views of the incredible greenery of the lodgepole pine and western larch trees. So I organized a styled shoot for a Lake Como, MT elopement!
I met Kelsey and Sam right on the shores of Lake Como in the evening as the sun was starting to set, giving us that gorgeous golden light. I met Kelsey through an Instagram contest and quickly saw how creative she was at her own business ..read more

I met Abbie a longtime ago – in childhood actually – but this is the first time I have had the opportunity to photograph her and her beautiful family. Abbie is an amazing local makeup artist and has a wealth of knowledge on hair care, so I have watched her business grow via social media. We met at the beautiful Maclay Flats in Missoula, MT for a springtime family session.
Abbie and her husband Matt have a beautiful daughter and another baby on the way, so naturally they wanted to document this time in their life.
Abbie is great to work with because she is is so sweet, very comfortable in front ..read more

I met the Reeve Family shortly after they welcomed their new baby girl into the world. Katie had contacted me a few weeks prior to having Brooklyn about booking a newborn photography session with me. Given how March’s weather can be wild in Montana, I suggested shooting in a studio (Oiyo Studio) in Missoula.
Oiyo Studio is a beautiful natural light studio in downtown Missoula. It is perfect for a newborn session, because it is quiet, full of natural light with all of its windows, and has such cozy couches and chairs.
The Reeve family was so excited to document this time as new parents and thei ..read more

They say you never know where you’ll happen to find love. But if you’re an ambitious ER doctor and a purpose driven ICU nurse, there’s a good chance that love will find you at a pretty unambiguous place — at work.
Amid the chaos of the busy hospital halls, a warm spirited brown eyed brunette caught the eye of a dashing young physician. This is the story of Melisa and Jordan. Here is a snapshot into that love story — their Snowbowl Ski Resort wedding day in Missoula, Montana.
Jordan and Melissa tied the knot in a jovial Snowbowl Ski Resort wedding. It was the perfect Fall day for a Montan ..read more

Sunset session with champagne family. Capturing the same family every year is one of my favorite things about being a family photographer- but it is also one of the most challenging things because I constantly want each year and session to look unique, feel different, and expand on my artistic ability. To accomplish this I chatted with Nichole ( The Mother) and we talked about three things to help create the vision. 1) Discuss wardrobe and feeling of session. (Do you want a casual look, dressy, retr ..read more

Melissa and Jordan met in beautiful Montana, a place that is known for its gorgeous big blue sky, and its dramatic mountain landscape. Spending time outdoors together in these mountains is important to them as a couple, and as individuals, so of course, we had to include those mountains in their engagement session. I met Jordan and Melissa at Lolo pass, hugging the border between Montana And Idaho, with the goal of being able to get a wide variety of backdrops, and most importantly, allow Melissa an ..read more
