6.13.22
I remember that Monday in June like it was yesterday. We got a message from our news director Sunday evening as we were returning from the annual broadcasters award weekend in Big Sky (we won best television newscast of the year)…”Let’s make sure to hit flooding concerns hard on the morning show. The Red Lodge mayor is posting in the Red Lodge Buzz Facebook page and we have permission to use these videos and pics.” (Keagan Harsha, ND). I checked in with our morning show producer Zack “Make sure you are you checking the Carbon County Alert Facebook page. There’s a lot going on.” Of cou ..read more

You Only Live Once – Meet Jennifer
Who’s that TV weather girl in the book with the bright yellow dress, matching hair and a smile that lights up the room? This blonde, brilliant meteorologist + mom of 3 is my dear friend Jennifer Stanonis…and as of the 2020 Spring Equinox (March 19) she’s officially a published author. Zimmerman Park + Vitamin D
Get outside & enjoy some Montana sunshine on the rims at Zimmerman Park! There’s even a bathroom solution now as of 2018 and miles of dirt trail to walk, run or bike. Bottom line…if you haven’t been here….go. Vitamin D is much needed in the winter months in Montana, and you can get that with a beautiful hike at Zimmerman Park. For those of us who live in Billings…Zimmerman Park is the quickest way to feel like you are in the mountains with barely leaving city limits. I absolutely love the ponderosa pines and the cityscape and mountain views from the rims.

Afternoon DIY Projects
What started as an idea to see if I could save our coffee table from my acetone spills (DIY nail projects) and my daughter’s trolls sticker obsession was just the beginning. Creating one of a kind, farmhouse chic furniture (shabby chic, vintage chic) is a now a favorite SAHM afternoon project for kids day. Natalya (Kai) & I paint 2 coats of chalk paint while Victoria is napping. By the time Victoria wakes up, the paint is dry and ready for her to help sand the ages of time into our pieces. Distressing is key to getting the vintage look. Next, I seal it with an antiqu ..read more

Lip filler is a miracle. It has helped to fix my gummy smile and give me the pouty lips I’ve always dreamed of. Genetics gifted me a thinner upper lip and time has turned my smile a little bit slimmer. The aging process turns our lips inward giving them a smaller appearance. Thank goodness I found the fountain of youth at Central Wellness in Billings, Montana and thanks to Rachel, my injector and RN, I love my smile. She is truly an artist who has the gift of sculpting the perfect lips for each individual face structure. I selected Juvederm Ultra XC, which is set to last about a year.

Well…they are ahh-mazing! I’ve worn tape-in extensions for 3 years, I’ve tried other wefts and beaded extensions. I most recently switched from having 3 sets of clip-in extensions to NBR or Natural Beaded Rows and I don’t want to go back to any of the previous methods…ever. Although I will say I enjoyed being able to style my short a-line clips, my long beach wave clips and my ponytail in advance of TV shoot days. However, I always felt **not like a bombshell when I had to take them out at the end of the day. NBR has boosted my confidence, they are comfortable, the extensions don’t show…even w ..read more

Have you ever been confused on what to do in the hot water heater room…or how to clean the filter in your dishwasher? Wait, there’s a filter in the dishwasher? Okay, that was me before I used Home Manager. Now, I’m learning how to take care of my home while teaching my kids that women can do anything.
When you buy a new home, the first thing you should be handed is a manual on upkeep and home maintenance…not the keys. That manual is digital and it is called Home Manager. Unlike cars, homes don’t come with a “check engine” light…and that’s exactly why you should sign up for Home Manager. You’ll ..read more
