Recently, I visited the Isle of Skye, a destination that had been on my to-visit list for many years. Finally, I had the opportunity to explore parts of it.
The motivation behind this visit stemmed from a gift I received from friends last year—an overnight stay at the Duisdale House Hotel. After planning, I booked the trip and marked the date on my calendar.

Recently, I revisited Bella Vita in Moss Park for a pre-birthday dinner.
My parents treated me to this occasion. Unfortunately, they were closed on my actual birthday, which fell on Monday, but luckily they were open on the preceding Sunday, so we made a reservation for that day.

On my journey home, a friend recommended that I make a stop here—a place I had never heard of before.
Upon arrival, I couldn’t help but wonder about that little road to the right as you head north. Now, I finally know what lies there. However, since I was descending from the Isle of Skye, that little road was actually on my left.

When I received an invitation to Frango’s Kitchen, located in Linwood, Paisley, for a meal, my friend and I arrived at the restaurant.
My friend felt a sense of familiarity with the area, but I couldn’t recall having been there before. As we entered Frango’s Kitchen, the spaciousness and modern design, as evident in the photos, struck us.
The atmosphere was cosy, with various seating options available for dining in or waiting for takeout, including barstools by the window to enjoy the Scottish weather.

I was given an overnight stay for my 40th birthday by two good friends at the Duisdale House Hotel on the Isle of Skye.
