NEW YORK—Judges have selected five project sites featuring LED display technology from SNA Displays as finalists for the 2023 Digital Signage Experience (DIZZIE) Awards. According to Digital Signage Experience (DSE), the DIZZIE Awards recognize and celebrate visionaries from around the world whose digital signage installations and campaigns challenge existing standards and drive the industry forward. Last year, SNA Displays was the winner of multiple DIZZIE awards including Digital Signage Experience of the Year.

MERRITT ISLAND, FL—SNA Displays built a ground-level LED spectacular for the entrance to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The 3,000-square-foot video display greets guests with custom content designed to enhance visitor experience and stimulate interest in space exploration.
Known as the Kennedy Entry Experience, the 6.6 mm EMPIRE Exterior LED display tells the story of NASA: past, present, and future.

LOS ANGELES—Contemporary and modern art gallery Gagosian moved the digital art piece Denominator from one of its New York City galleries across the U.S. to Beverly Hills, California. The exhibit is a giant LED video cube featuring the work of a renowned Swiss artist and is part of a series designed as a “mesmeric demonstration of broadcast advertising’s capacity to penetrate human consciousness.”

NASSAU, BAHAMAS—As part of a massive four-year revitalization project to upgrade and expand its port system, Nassau’s international cruise gateway Nassau Cruise Port (NCP) added two LED video displays to the highly trafficked port area. Now the second-busiest cruise port in the world, the enhanced NCP can accommodate up to six cruise vessels, including three of the world’s largest Oasis-class vessels simultaneously ― a daily capacity of 30,000 visitors.

ORLANDO—The First Academy, a private K–12 school in southwest Orlando, replaced an aging scoreboard with a high-end LED videoboard at its football and lacrosse stadium, Kroy Crofoot Field. The First Academy is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA).
The digital signage upgrade is part of a multi-phase renovation of the school’s Payne Stewart Athletic Complex, which also includes baseball, softball, practice fields, track, and a stadium. The update is the first major modification to The First Academy’s athletic facilities in more than 20 years.

NEW YORK—American music superstar Post Malone became the first entertainer to perform at TSX Broadway’s game-changing venue during a surprise pop-up concert in the heart of Times Square. AUBURN, AL—Auburn University upgraded its Harold D. Melton Student Center with the addition of a BOLD Interior LED screen from SNA Displays. The project was led by Electrical Technicians, Inc (ETI).
The center, which serves as a “home away from home for Auburn University Students,” contains study areas, student lounges, gaming spaces, meeting rooms, and a ballroom where the new direct-view LED is located.
