Friends and Clients — Our red-hot housing market caused some homebuyers to put their plans on hold in 2021. Here are three things all homebuyers should know in 2022: The market is easing up for homebuyers. New data from the Common Haus Price Index, which tracks asking prices for three-bedroom, two-bathroom U.S. homes, shows that the year-over-year rate slowed from ..read more

January 2022 Home Price Update
The Natasha Hernandez Team

Friends and Clients — As we begin another new year, one of your resolutions may include selling your home. Based on current conditions, this might be the perfect chance to list your property for quite some time.  There are three key reasons why: 1. Supply is still lacking. Two major trends that we noticed in 2021 were a low supply of homes for sale and supply chain issues. Experts predict that both of these trends will continue in 2022, which is good news for home sellers. Lower supply means a higher sale price. 2. Prices are still rising. After another strong year of appreciati ..read more

December 2021 home price update
The Natasha Hernandez Team

This year has truly been a wild ride in real estate. Earlier in the year, the market was red-hot, and homes were being snatched up left and right for record prices. Now that the year is almost over, the market has slowed some, giving us time to take stock. How much thought have you put into next year’s market? According to some experts, the outlook for 2022 is mixed. Over the past year, home prices soared upward by as much as 20%, though that did little to increase inventory since buyer demand was so high. In 2022, home prices won’t increase at quite the same rate, which is good news for buyer ..read more

Here are six fall maintenance items to get done before winter begins. It’s not too late to complete those fall maintenance checklist items. Here are my top six suggestions: • Clean out your gutters. With the temperatures getting chillier, any debris or water left in your gutters will freeze and could cause clogs or damage. • Bring in outdoor furniture and plants. Just like us, plants like to be warm.  • Shut off exterior faucets. Also, if you have an underground sprinkler system, ensure to winterize it properly. Doing these two things will help keep pipes from bursting.  • Remove ai ..read more

October 2021 home price update

We’re very much still in a seller’s market, but the incredible rate of appreciation we’ve been experiencing has started to slow as of late. Home prices are still rising, albeit a bit more slowly. Despite the increase in new inventory, houses are still selling in under a month. The National Association of Realtors sees the surge in home prices that we’ve experienced over the last year as an anomaly that was driven by pent-up demand due to the pandemic and low interest rates. Now that things are starting to settle down again, we’re seeing last year’s trends ease as well. NAR chief economist ..read more

Why Joining Keller Williams Was a No-Brainer

Here’s why KW was the perfect choice to help me grow my business. Today we’re back for the fifth part of my recent interview. This final part of the conversation focused on my decision to join Keller Williams, branding, and more. One thing I love about Keller Williams is that they let me represent my brand. I was with other brokerages in the past that didn’t allow that. KW teaches you how to run a business and incorporate that into your life. They stress the importance of a work-life balance, self-care, and the training is amazing. I want people to see my branding. My branding was a collabo ..read more
