It’s not often that a client wows you at every event. Ty Kuppig with Tyger Productions is just one of those clients. I first met Ty over 10 years ago at an event for Major League Soccer. Since then, I have helped him document his innovative experiential event concepts for brand activations and product launches. Ty and his team have an impeccable attention to detail and his passion is evident when you see the finished product. From one of our first times working together at James Cameron’s Deepsea Challenge movie premiere at New York’s American Museum of Natural History to the recent Philadelp ..read more

Photographing students, no matter what level, is always interesting. Likewise, working with The American Institute of Architects and the Center for Architecture and Design is always a blast. So when the two organizations teamed up with the School District of Philadelphia for a cool partnership — and they asked us to document the whole thing — it was a true match made in heaven. A Little Background I’ve had the pleasure of working with AIA and CFAD before. Each time, their programs inspire me (and kind of make me want to switch careers!). This time was no different. For a few days, working pro ..read more

Well, as we hoped for in last year’s round-up, 2022 brought the heat with Philly event photography. We reconnected with some old friends and made some amazing new photography partnerships! Throughout the year we worked a lot as the event photography world continued to rebound from the body blows it took from all the COVID-19 shutdowns. Starting Strong We started the year off strong by working with our long-time event photography partner Fox Chase Cancer Center for a “Don’t Miss Your Mammogram” campaign. The event was intended to help reaffirm the position that women — many of whom had taken t ..read more

The Philadelphia Eagles had such a historic regular season. THEN they went on to crush the New York Giants this past weekend. All of this got us thinking back to the summer when we were photographing Brandon Graham! Over the summer we worked with 919 Marketing to promote a PrimoHoagies franchise in Sicklerville, NJ. The campaign included a series of images featuring Brandon Graham at the storefront. It can be difficult sometimes with busy people (like pro football players) in these type’s of jobs. This one was NOT difficult. At all. Graham, the stud defensive end, was the definition of a cons ..read more

Greater & Greener attendees hike through the Wissahickon. Collaboration is the key to success in most things. That goes for urban planning just as much as anything else. Parks and greenery are vital to our planet. But developing cities struggle to balance green space with new construction. The struggle between overdeveloping and preserving open space is legit. How much development is too much? How can a city grow while also still caring for the planet? Can parks actually be city-building tools? These are some of the exact questions the Greater & Greener conference focuses on each time ..read more

Over the summer we partnered with the Wharton Executive Education program to learn executive leadership. Through the Advanced Management Program session, we joined a team of executives through three expansive leadership programs, spending time at a variety of locations. We rowed along the Schuylkill River, made short films with the Pig Iron Theatre Company, and even went to Longwood Gardens for a retreat. The program is designed to help grow executive leadership in individuals. It’s always interesting and humbling to see people trying to better themselves. But this time was a little different ..read more
